Abstract
The section presents recent activities at the Universidad Tecnológica de la Mixteca (UTM) aimed at supporting the comprehensive development of its community. It includes a conference on entering the workforce and workers’ rights, as well as an invitation to an interuniversity entrepreneurship competition. The section also highlights the 25th Mixtec Culture Week, which celebrated regional arts, traditions, and collective memory. Several initiatives focused on mental health, suicide prevention, and student well-being through personal testimonies, community activities, peer support, listening spaces, and psychological services. Other reports describe efforts to preserve traditional games and a workshop on emotional regulation and peaceful conflict resolution. The section concludes with a tribute to founding rector Modesto Seara Vásquez and his vision of a university committed to teaching, research, cultural outreach, and social development.
